Coming to Himos

Himos is easy to reach from any corner of the country. Nearest airports are Tampere (TMP) and Jyväskylä (JYV), you can drive to Himos by the popular highway Road 9, E63 from both airport directions.
Express buses stop in Himos crossroad where it's only a short walk to the main reception.
National rails take you to Jämsä, 7 km from Himos.
A new shuttle connection from the railway station to Himos has been opened,
timetable available through sales service!
Private transportation on a mini-van is also available for most comfortable journey.

Himos Holiday Center

Himos Holiday Center is the reception and information point of HimosLomat - Himos Holiday. In the Center you'll also find Himos Shop for basic groceries and souvenirs, aswell as Tourist Info.

Late Arrival
In case you are arriving after HimosCenter closing time, we ask you to inform the sales service or the reception in advance when we will be able to give you instructions how to check-in after closing time.

Upon arrval
Please bring your reservation number to make checking in effortless.
Take your personal identification documents and credit card to the desk.

Bedclothes
Cottages and chalets are equipped with blankets and pillows, but without sheets and towels.

You may rent a set of linen and towel from the reception when checking in.
Set includes sheet, cover sheet, duvet cover, pillow case and bath towel.

You can also order the linen and towels to the accommodation in advance. Packed set delivered to the cottage 12 € / set. If you want us to make your beds ready before arrival, set of linen made to the bed 15 € /set.

In Himos Hotel rooms and Patalahti apartments the sheets and towels are already on the beds.

Final cleaning
Condition of the cottage is checked every time before new clients arrive.
The cottage must cleaned to the same degree as it was upon arrival.
Let us make the cleaning for you and concentrate on having a vacation.
Starting price for cleaning 69 € / cottage.

When the cleaning is not ordered, the reception will ask you to confirm the cleaning by credit card number upon check-in in exchange to the key.
