Snowmobile rental

Rent a snowmobile for your own use from Himos Safarit. The rent shop is located next to Himos Center.

Snowmobile options:
SKI-DOO MXZ 550 FAN sports snowmobiles for one person
SKI-DO GTX 550 FAN touring vehicles for two people
SKI-DOO GTX 550 touring vehicles for three people

The rental price includes:

* driving gear – helmets, gloves, shoes and overalls
* driving instructions, route fees
* insurance (deductible: €600)


Fuel is charged according to consumption.

Instructions for snowmobilists

* The permission of the landowner is always required for driving a snowmobile anywhere – please stay on the designated routes!
* The routes marked on the map are for indication only; the actual route may deviate from them. Obey the signs on the routes.
* Follow the regulations for two-way road traffic. In blind curves, keep as much to the right as possible.
* There are other people on the routes as well – be careful and obey traffic regulations and signs.
* In some places the snowmobile routes may cross skiing routes etc. Do not drive on skiing trails.
* Near waterways, beware of places with a current.
* The speed limit is 60 km/h on land and 80 km/h on ice, unless otherwise indicated.
* Avoid driving a snowmobile between 8 pm and 6 am.
* Driving a snowmobile under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicants is against the law.
* Drivers must be at least 15 years of age and must have at least a class-T (tractor) driving licence.
* You will be provided with detailed instructions when renting a snowmobile.
