Guided fishing trip to the forest pond nearby

a unique experience in the middle of the silent nature, only 18 kilometers from Jämsä, from where about 600 m forest trail walk to the pond. A rowing boat and a Laplander's hut near the pond. Swimming possibility. On the bank of the pond we'll prepare food the fishes we just caught on an open camp fire, otherwise your own packed lunch.

Torch-fishing in the middle of the night

Beginning in the autumn! See the fish of the lake in the torch light and catch with a trident - maybe you'll get the biggest fish in the lake sleeping in the bottom... The place for torch fishing is 18 km from Jämsä, from where about 600 m forest trail walk to the boat.  The excursion begings usually before the dark.

• max 6 people, 2 persons on the boat at a time with guide. One person at a time is fishing at a time, then change. Others are waiting for their turn ashore by campfire.

Rapid fishing in Rapid Kuusaankoski

Kuusaankoski is the most swift rapid in Central Finland because it's is high and it is steep. Distance to Kuusaankoski from Himos is 80 km. Kuusaankoski is famous for it trout population. An experienced fisherman can go fishing independently, but the useful knowledge of our guided fishing packages is par excellence for beginners as well as the trained fishermen. On the guided rapidfishing trip you get to fish under the guidance of the elite of Finnish fishing guides.  The newest fishing equipment on the market and the guide takes you to the best fishing spots. You can try your skills with lures, fly-fishing or even poppers! Possibility to catch trout, grayling and freshwater salmon.
