On top of the ski slopes of Northern Himos, in the silence of Central Finland’s forest lies a traditional village of small log cabins.
The basic cottages of North Himos offer affordable accommodation for peace-loving travellers. This is where the story of Himos began.
When the Northern Himos slopes are open you can walk to the ski slopes and the Himoshuippu cross country ski-track from the cottage. During the snow-free period, the area also offers excellent conditions for wildlife activities such as berry and mushroom picking and amazing endless forest view around the year.
Approximate distance from cottages to Himos Areena 3 – 3,5 km, to Golf 3 km,
to the western slopes 2,5 km, to the northern slopes 50 – 300m.
